A community for craftsmen

Woodworking and craftsmanship are fulfilling—but they can also be overwhelming when you're on your own. The Mapleton Workshop is a community of neighbors and friends who share tools, ideas, and encouragement as we all build better skills—and better lives—together.
Mapleton Workshop isn’t a company, a class, or a club.
It’s a local group of hobbyists, pros, and weekend warriors who meet up, trade knowledge, and support each other’s growth.
We believe in:
Asking questions
Sharing what we know
Lending tools and hands when needed
Building better projects—and better friendships
✅ A safe space to ask beginner or advanced questions
✅ Neighbors who actually want to help
✅ Tool sharing and recommendations
✅ Project feedback and idea swaps
✅ A growing skillset, one cut at a time
If you:
Tinker in your garage
Dream of finally building that workbench
Want to learn to use your router without fear
Miss the days when people helped each other out
Then this is for you.
We keep it low-key and local. If you want in, just ask.
We’ll send you info on how to connect, what to expect, and how to get involved.

This is an exclusive group and is meant for men living in the greater Mapleton area, which would also include Spanish Fork in Springville. If you were outside of that geographical boundary, we would encourage you to start your own local workshop group.
No, this group is meant for all levels of experience. Some members of this group have built out beautiful shops and are themselves incredible craftsman. Others will just be getting started. We welcome all.
It's totally free.
There are no dues, no pressure.
Just good people sharing the craft.
Because wood is better when it's not the only thing you're working on.
